These are adorable – felt bears and bunnies handmade by Holly Jayne:

Maiko Kuzunishi has the dream career that any graphic designer would envy. She’s worked for THE motion design company MK12 (and created my favorite pieces from them) and makes an amazing line of products from clothes to dining plates (which have been featured in Lucky, no less), on top of being an insanely talented designer and illustrator for a variety of clients and media. It’s wonderful to especially see females rocking it in what is still a male-dominated world. I am truly amazed.

I love these – Locher’s sweet and simple blouses detailed with dainty floral embroidery on the sleeve or hem, that up close, have unexpected and saucy little sayings like “I Love Porn” and “No Time To Fuck”. Oh my! Her darling and delicate pendants are just as sassy. [Via fabulous new read Clothes-Pin]

Cute! Happy striped animals eating extra-large desserts from illustrator Tomoto:

Feria Urbana is one of the few things I miss about living in the Bay Area. It was such a great place to find clothes, accessories, and other handmade goods from talented indie designers. If you’re in the Bay Area tonight – and need a Mother’s Day gift! – Feria Urbana will be at the Oakland Museum of California from 5-9pm. You’ll find stuff like this utilitarian but cute Hibiscus Bag from Sophie Says Go.

If you’re in L.A. this weekend, the Brewery in downtown will be having their twice annual ArtWalk. Artist studios will be open to the public for us to check out their work, like these vintage discoveries from thefoundphoto:

Oh, to be gorgeous, talented, and have your art on the walls of almost every major city in the world. The darling and doe-eyed graffiti girls, or Fafinettes, have recently adorned the shoes of Adidas, the bags of Lesportsac, and shirts from Fafi herself.

Cute, cute, and more cute! Vintage fabrics and patterns take flight in the form of cushions, throws, and birdies, thanks to textile designer Clare Nicolson.

Hand knit accessories have never looked cooler and sexier than at Yarn Over Movement. I love the vintage-hip styling and old photograph look, and those patterns totally wearable and totally something I’d want to make.

How cool would it be to design a mosaic mural? Mrmucho’s mosaics should provide some good inspiration if you ever found yourself with such a project. I love the screenprinted tiles, such a modern touch on a traditional artform. [Via The Style Press]

My favorite restaurant in the Bay Area is Slanted Door in the Ferry Building. It’s in a touristy area, but you can’t beat those views of the East Bay and their walls are decorated with pieces by SF-based fine artist Rex Ray. Fantastic, imaginative, happy, and reminiscent of Disneyland’s Small World is are the words I’d use to describe his work.
