I don’t know about you, but Lady Gaga’s performance at the VMAs was right up my alley.

I found myself at Katy Perry’s release party at the Starck-designed and very Alice-in-Wonderland-y S Bar in Hollywood last month. Though her song “I Kissed a Girl” has it’s definite hipster leanings, I actually like it. But I like Katy’s style even more. She even wore pink to the party! If you hated the original “Umbrella” song as much as I did, then you’ll probably love Marie Digby’s version. I was able to catch one of Marie’s shows at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood. The girl is as talented and BEAUTIFUL as she is on YouTube. I think her voice is so amazing – it has that quality that only personal experience and not even the best voice lessons can bring out.

I love her original song “Unfold” too. So pretty!
