I’m not going to lie. I watched “Search for the Next Doll” and loved it. I loved all the outfits that the girls wore for the performances. Within context of course. Even with an awesome body, you couldn’t wear these anywhere else. Unless you like being asked, “How much?”

I’ve never been a fan of iPod commercials’ pseudo-hipster tunes and lo-fi look, but I really like these this time around – so organic and harmonious, with the animation well-executed and smooth as ever. (Wish I knew who made them though.)

The Office season finale is tonight! I’m excited, although I don’t know what I’ll do with a whole summer sans the Office. But look how cute John Kransinski and Jenna Fischer look in their midnight blue and magenta ensemble. I love this pairing. Both the color scheme and them. Such a beautiful couple.

Anyone who says they didn’t like this girly-girl classic is lying!!! It’s like the “Clueless” for college girls. That why we’re all in agreement that we will be watching the Broadway version, yes? It was a hit in no-nonsense San Francisco, so it couldn’t be that bad. Although I don’t think anyone could compare to Reese Witherspoon..
“Legally Blonde” the musical opened in New York yesterday. Thanks to Melissa for the heads-up!

Element Labs was one of my new discoveries at the CA Boom show in Santa Monica this past weekend. You might recognize their cool and colorful LED panels from music videos like Coldplay’s “Speed of Sound” and staged events like the Grammy’s. I’m thinking about how cool it would be to have a section of your house that looks like this:

This woman is like my idol! She is the reason I got into music videos; her work is true artistry in motion. In addition to directing videos for artists like Marilyn Manson and the White Stripes, she also shoots frighteningly beautiful photographs. (Love how this post is in direct contrast to the last two. Or not, depending on how you feel.)

I finally watched Marie Antoinette at Cinespace over the weekend. The movie was boring, but I did like the soundtrack, and I absolutely loved the imagery. The costumes, the set design, even the FOOD, were all so gorgeously stylized and breathtaking.

I even liked the understated and slight punk rock-ish edge of the logo and title sequence. (Are italics coming back?) So unexpected but fitting.
