Oh, Valentine’s Day is coming up? I’ve been on a jewelry kick this month – hint, boyfriend, hint – and LuShae Jewelry contacted me just n time to let me know that they are running a blogger competition where a monthly winner is chosen for a $200 cash prize, in addition to 15% off the store if you enter. Here are some of their heart-friendly pieces just in time for February.

Love the assemblage of various materials in LAS Jewelry’s bib necklaces. Their lookbook is full of dramatic shots and worth a look as well.

Happy 2010! I didn’t make specific resolutions this year, but I have been recently inspired to look towards the past for inspiration for the present and future. Period films and movies from past decades have been playing nightly for the past few days. Even opening a box of old photographs have provided gems like this one of my boyfriend’s mother getting ready on the day of her wedding. Isn’t she beautiful?

Fuzzy, flesh-toned pieces in Lizzie Fortunato’s Ragdoll necklace, part of her line for the always-body-conscious VPL.

Phillip Lim spoke at the LACMA yesterday on his latest spring collection, so I find myself re-inspired by his work. His Fall 2009 looks incorporate various shades of rose – normally bright, springtime colors that still manage to look overall neutral for autumn.

I’m always impressed by Christina Ricci’s red carpet outfits, so it should be no surprise that her closet is just as impressive. But the girl is actually selling her home with said closet! Anyone have $1.25 million? (via Style Section LA)

Posting will continue to remain slow through the holidays. In the meantime, check out the Tumblr for gift ideas and party-wearing pieces. I’ve categorized it by price too!

Leighton, you hot bitch, you…. this is the only girl who can push the envelope without ever crossing into slut territory. From GQ

I have a new affinity for overhead shots, and the shots of punchy pinks on concrete make me excited for the upcoming cooler weather in Who What Wear’s November editorial.

I just watched Dakota Fanning’s appearance on the Ellen and am excited to see her in New Moon this Thursday (yep, midnight showing) – it’s so nice to see one Hollywood child grow into such a gracious (and GORGEOUS!) young woman. She also looks quite the fashionista in the newest issue of Teen Vogue.
